Impact

By joining a Climate Immersion Journey, you do more than explore the Himalayas, you become an active partner in protecting the Third Pole.

While our immersive field programs bring participants to the Himalayas, they are designed first and foremost to support local adaptation projects, advance glacier research, and connect global decision-makers with frontline communities turning every step you take into real-world impact.

These journeys are a tool to fund and amplify the Third Pole Climate Nexus mission not the mission itself.

Impact

Why travel to the Himalayas for Climate Action?

Climate change is not abstract in the Himalayas, it is visible, immediate, and transforming communities every day. Bringing leaders, learners, and travelers to the region is not about tourism: it is about understanding a global crisis where it is unfolding fastest.

We are intentional about the footprint of every journey. Participants are often people who already travel for work or leisure. By joining us, they redirect that travel into purpose:

Funding adaptation projects with local communities Supporting glacier research and field documentation Bringing climate insight back into the decisions they make at home.

This is how individual travel becomes system-level impact through engagement, understanding, and meaningful contribution to the Third Pole.

“Joining Project Beyond Records for 4 days was eye-opening. I experienced the Himalayan glaciers, met local communities, and saw first-hand the impacts of climate change. It was inspiring to contribute to such a meaningful mission.”
